Michigan Football recruiting update. Southfield, Michigan 4-star defensive end Lawrence Marshall has committed to play for the Wolverines. He becomes the ninth member of Michigan’s 2014 recruiting class. The 6-foot-4, 230 pound Marshall is a good athlete who possesses the coveted combination of speed and power.
Marshall selected Michigan over offers from Michigan State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and others.
Marshall is ranked as the fourth best player in the state of Michigan and the 12th best defensive end by ESPNU. He ranks 107th overall on the EPSN 150. Of Michigan’s nine 2014 commitments, eight of them can be found on the ESPN 150. Not too shabby by Brady Hoke and his staff.
Michigan seems to be in a great position to land the nation’s #2 overall recruit Jabrill Peppers (Paramus, New Jersey). Peppers recently blazed his way to a New Jersey state record in the 200 meter dash by clocking a 20.79. He also posted a 10.2 in the 100 meter dash (the Olympics qualifying time in the 100 meter dash is 10.24) so yeah, Peppers is pretty fast.
