Brady Hoke’s reputation among his former players has paid dividends yet again. This time in the form of a commitment from class of 2015 propsect Jon Runyan Jr (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). He is the son of former Michigan All-American and current US Senator, Jon Runyan.
The elder Runyan’s time at Michigan overlapped with the time that Hoke served as an assistant on Lloyd Carr’s staff. The respect and admiration that Hoke’s former players have for him is unquestioned and universal. Hoke is such a high character individual that even opposing coaches can’t help but heap praise upon him. Recently Michigan State’s Mark Dantonio reaffirmed his hatred for Michigan, but explained that he had nothing but good things to say about Hoke.
Jon Runyan Jr is a 6-foot-4, 250 pound offensive linemen and the second member of Michigan’s 2015 recruiting class.
