Michigan Football’s 2015 recruiting class, picked up a huge commitment on Saturday when 5-star wide receiver George Campbell (East Lake, Florida) committed to the Wolverines. He is in Ann Arbor for Sunday’s BBQ at the Big House and made his commitment while in town. As a sophomore, Campbell racked up 766 receiving yards and scored 5 TDs. He is an elite athlete and a big-time playmaker.
Campbell, who checks in at 6-4, 190, is the third member of Michigan’s 2015 recruiting class and is considered the #3 ranked recruit nationally. While at Nike’s The Opening a few weeks ago, Campbell blazed a 4.37 40 yard dash. He is the teammate of Michigan’s class of 2014 commitment, Mason Cole.
Campbell had just recently narrowed his list down to 10 schools; Central Florida, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt. He had been considered a Michigan lean and decided there was no reason to wait longer. A big tip of the hat should go to Michigan’s coaching staff, who are outstanding recruiters and Michigan’s 2014 commitments who are also great recruiters.
