The Oakland Raiders are coming off a 21-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, which tied both teams at the top of the division at 10-3. Kansas City has the edge, though, winning both matchups this year. Latavius Murray broke 100 yards, but Derek Carr is still dealing with his finger injury from a few weeks back. It seemed like every throw was a lob last Thursday night as Carr looked uneasy with the snaps from the enter as well. Let’s take a look at who to start and who to sit for Oakland as they go to San Diego to face the Chargers.
Who to Start
Latavius Murray’s stock is quietly rising with Carr’s finger affecting his play. The workload has increased slightly and Murray is taking advantage. Murray has found the end zone four times in the last three weeks. With the best offensive line up front, expect Murray to find the end zone yet again in the red zone and help you get into the Fantasy championship.
Who to Sit
There are so many options at quarterback that starting Carr could be a big question mark. Considering this is the biggest week in Fantasy Football to get your team into the championship week, then go with a quarterback playing at his best, then an injury-ridden quarterback who may handing the ball off more than expected on Sunday.
Under the Radar
With Derek Carr’s playing ability uncertain, it is an interesting pick to go with Janikowski for long field goals and when the Raiders fail to convert touchdowns in the red zone. Janikowski has had a great career and will continue to show his veteran’s presence in a game that clinches a playoff berth if the Raiders win.
