On Thursday, Michigan Football landed commitments from twin brothers German and Gemon Green (DeSoto, Texas). With the athletic duo in the fold, Michigan now has seven commitments in their 2018 recruiting class.

The brothers committed to Michigan after visiting the campus this week. Gemon Green (6-2, 173) is ranked as the No. 32 cornerback in the country, while German (6-2, 180) is ranked as the No. 84 cornerback in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
SportsDayHS ranks Gemon as the No. 22 player in the Dallas area and they have German ranked No. 34. Their team, DeSoto High School won a state championship last season and is a perennial power in the state of Texas.
Gemon Green, who earned in an invite to Nike’s The Opening, chose Michigan over offers from Colorado, Oregon, TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma, Houston, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and more.

German selected the Wolverines over offers from Tennessee, Colorado, Houston, Fresno State, Iowa State and others.
Jim Harbaugh and his staff have made inroads in the state of Texas with their recruiting efforts and it paid off in the form of Green brothers’ commitments.
