Huddersfield Town have beaten Manchester United in a league game for the first time in 65 years.

This was the big story this weekend as Manchester United lost their first game of the season. Huddersfield scored two goals in quick succession during the first half. Mooy and then Depoitre put goals away against David De Gea and Manchester United had no response.
A second-half goal in the 78th minute by Rashford gave United some hope, but Huddersfield was able to hold them off.

This loss, although early in the season, can be a big hit against United’s title hopes. Manchester City remains undefeated in the league. The gap between first and second place just grew, now they have a five-point difference. United shouldn’t be dropping points against these lower table teams, but that is what is exciting about the Premier League; every game isn’t a guaranteed win.
Manchester United are desperately lacking creativity in the midfield. An out of form Mkhitaryan is continually disappointing in the league. This reveals a bigger issue: Pogba isn’t playing. All of the responsibility to create is put on players who don’t fit the profile.
Since Pogba has been injured, Manchester United haven’t looked their usual dangerous self. Even though United shouldn’t need Pogba to beat Huddersfield, the issue remains.
When playing against bigger opponents, Pogba will be needed. His ability to find space and create chances has given Lukaku the chance to score many goals.
Mkhitaryan's 1st half stats:
65% Pass Completion
0 Chances Creates
0 Key Passes
4 Times Dispossessed
Get him off the pitch.

Without Pogba, Lukaku looks isolated. He has to drop deeper and deeper to get the ball, which isn’t his strength. If you take Lukaku out of the box, he isn’t the dangerous player we know.
Pogba is training and getting better every day. As soon as he returns, Manchester United will be back to their winning ways.
Think Manchester United saw the full combination of Pogba's absence and cumulative fatigue at Huddersfield today. Never looked like winning.
