At the rate this FC Barcelona team is going, it looks like they will win La Liga. Only nine games into the season, this seems like a ridiculous prediction, but the stats tell a different story. This is Barcelona’s best start to a league ever. They haven’t lost a game and they remain at the top of the table.
Messi is the leading scorer in the league and two important pieces of the team are missing: Dembele and Luis Suarez. Luis Suarez is horribly out of form. After a great run and pass from Sergi Roberto, Suarez was in a one on one situation with the keeper.
Suarez put it wide and he himself couldn’t believe it. All he could do was smile in disbelief. Suarez needs to be benched; at the moment he isn’t earning his starting position. Sergi Roberto could be brought on the left wing, Deulofeu on the right, and Messi in the striker’s position. Whatever the line up is, Suarez should not be in it anymore.
Luis Suarez is having a historically bad start to his La Liga season.

Dembele, on the other hand, is still injured. When he makes his return, he should be fresh and be able to make a huge impact. Everyone else has been playing football for months now, Dembele should be rested enough to run circles around other teams.
Even with these key players missing, FC Barcelona is still winning games. Last year, they couldn’t beat Malaga. This year, they comfortably but away Malaga thanks to goals from Iniesta and Deulofeu (although this goal shouldn’t count).
Putting away these small teams and ranking up points will give FC Barcelona the title. Four points in this league mean everything in the title race. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, again, are the only two real contenders for the title. Soon, Valencia’s good form will crumble.
Simone Zaza has scored in five consecutive leagues games for the first time in his career.

FC Barcelona should win the title this year. It will be close, but they have everything going for them.
