In June of 2016, Otis Reese committed to play his college football at Michigan. Although he hasn’t decommitted, Reese is still weighing his options and his hometown team, Georgia, is heavy on his mind. Reese played safety in high school, but projects as a linebacker in college, more specifically as a Viper at Michigan. He is the No. 6 ranked outside linebacker in the country and the No. 92 player overall, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Reese took an official visit to Central Michigan last week, where his brother Da’Quan Jamison is a defensive back. He plans on taking four more official visits to; Clemson, Georgia, LSU and Michigan.
Reese’s primary recruiter at Michigan has been Chris Partridge, who had an offer to join Alabama’s staff, but turned it down to remain with the Wolverines. That is good news as it relates to Reese’s recruitment. Partridge and Al Washington, who would be Reese’s position coach at Michigan, visited Reese this week.

Reese starred in Georgia’s 6A state championship game, helping Lee County capture the title with 10 tackles and a forced fumble.
As a senior, Reese recorded 131 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, six sacks, four pass breakups and five forced fumbles. He was named the Class 6A Defensive Player of the Year by the Georgia Sports Writers Association and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
This is likely a Michigan vs Georgia battle that will continue until National Signing Day.
