It doesn’t matter what mover other contenders like New York and L.A. made, Houston is still the team to beat. With the players clearly believing it and two of the leaders explicitly expressing it, this team looks ready to defend their crown at any costs.
That confidence will be hugely important for the team’s dreams of creating a possible dynasty. Any sign of vulnerability, whether technical or mental, has been absent in this current roster. Proving the team is confident and read to go out and perform once again.
No intimidation in H-Town
Whoever thought the moves made by New York or any of the other contenders raised any eyebrows in Houston, ya’ll were wrong.
This team has shown no worries about any possible challenges and instead have focused on working on their craft to keep up the level of last year.
If anytime is wasted thinking about other teams, that’s less time the team is working on improving. These comments show that the team’s mentality is that they are the best, and they are planning to go out and prove it.
Great season ahead
The magical season of last year was great. But a repeat would be even greater.
Houston has its eyes on a dynasty, and there’s no reason why they can’t accomplish it. With the confidence shown, the team will believe it can retain the title even bigger challenges in the elite team landscape. This season will be one full of great match ups, and with the way the team looks, there will certainly be great performances.
